Coming to terms with yourself

Greetings. I am new to Satania. I stumbled upon this group because over a year or so, I have been researching Demonology extensively, I stumbled upon some of the meditation videos and then began to dive into The Devil's Temple. I find some of the speakers fascinating. This is kindof an introduction/rant. I hope that is ok.

You see, I come from a religious background. I was raised in a Lutheran Church and school. I have studied the Bible in excruciating detail, going so far as to want to persue Theology when I was younger. That never happened ofcourse and so my studies primarily were done myself. This and other life events are stories for another time.

I have come to find that, despite feeling like I have a decent understanding of the Bible and it's core (while oftentimes ignored) concepts... i always felt like the information was lacking something, and my thirst for knowledge, wisdom and understanding was never fully satiated. Like it was just a mere piece of a puzzle, never quite revealing the full picture.

I have long since abandoned my religious ideologies that I once had. Though, I must admit i never stopped 'believing' in the concepts of God, Demons, and the like. My studies persisted, but now free from the confines and limitations of "The Bible" I began looking into other aspects. Demons, the Ars Goetia, The Lesser and Greater Keys of Solomon, Kabbalah, Djins, and spirits.

My knowledge and understanding while still in it's infancy, began to experience a metamorphosis.

The dark is scary. It is uncertain. It is, in certain cases desceptive. It is something that Humanity has long feared and associated with 'Evil' nobody instinctively wants to dabble in the unknown depths the dark has to offer. Nobody wants to be seen and categorized as evil or associated with that label. But... that is a dishonest and limited perspective.

The dark is not a place that entirely needs to be feared... it is natural, and is inside us. To truely understand yourself, it is a part of you that needs to be embraced, explored. Only from within the depths can one see the truth that is hidden. The truth that is themselves. Real, honest, self reflection.

Do not fear that which you do not know... respect it for what it is.

I am very interested in getting the opportunity to talk with and learn from those who are more knowledgeable than I am. I also love meeting, talking, sharing stories with any and all who are willing to engage in conversation. This seems like a really cool group and I just wanted to make a formal introduction.
