Offering your energy to a god or spirit is a symbolic act that signifies devotion, gratitude, or a desire to form a connection. This can be done in various ways, depending on your beliefs, the entity you’re working with, and your spiritual tradition. Below are 8 main methods to offer your energy to a god or spirit:
1. Through Ritual Practices: Rituals are one of the most direct ways to offer energy.
Candle Lighting: Light a candle in their honor, focusing your thoughts on your intention and directing your energy through the flame.
Incantations or Prayers: Recite a prayer, mantra, or invocation that resonates with the deity or spirit.
Symbolic Gestures: Offer physical items like flowers, incense, or food to symbolize your energy being given to them.
2. Meditation & Visualization:
Energy Visualization: Sit in a meditative state and visualize your energy as a glowing light, sending it to the spirit or god. Imagine the light connecting you to the entity and being received with grace.
Focus on Their Symbol: Use an image, sigil, or statue of the god or spirit as a focal point while meditating.
3. Acts Of Devotion:
Creative Offerings: Write a poem, song, or create art inspired by the spirit. Dedicate this act of creation to them.
Service: Engage in an activity that aligns with their values, such as charity work for a god associated with kindness or environmental efforts for a nature deity.
Daily Worship: Establish a practice where you honor them regularly, whether through prayer, lighting incense, or speaking their name.
4. Blood, Sweat, Saliva & Energy: Some traditions, especially within witchcraft or ceremonial magick, consider personal sacrifices symbolic offerings of energy:
Physical Energy: Offer a workout, dance, sex or other physical exertion as a symbol of devotion.
Blood Offerings: If safe and consensual within your practice, a few drops of your blood (via a sterile method) can symbolize a direct and powerful energy offering.
5. Channeling Emotional Energy:
Joy or Gratitude: Celebrate with music, dancing, or laughing in their name.
Pain or Sorrow: Share your vulnerability and emotions with the entity, offering them as part of your devotion.
6. Maintaining An Altar Or Sacred Space: Create and maintain a space dedicated to the spirit or god. The energy you put into caring for this space becomes an ongoing offering. Include items like:
Sacred objects associated with the entity.
Fresh water or other drinks.
Candles, crystals, or herbs aligned with their energy.
7. Offerings Of Time & Attention: Sometimes, the simplest offerings are the most meaningful:
Silent Reflection: Spend time thinking about the god or spirit, their attributes, and how they inspire you.
Gratitude Practices: Thank them regularly for their presence or blessings.
8. Astral Or Energetic Exchange: In advanced practices, you can connect with a spirit or god through astral projection or dream work, offering your energy directly on the astral plane.
Final Note: Always approach the entity with respect and a clear intention. Not all spirits or gods require offerings, and the nature of the offering should align with their characteristics and your relationship with them. Regularly evaluate how these practices feel for you to ensure a harmonious and fulfilling connection.

Hey, great post with good info. Most of the beings that I work with usually just ask for me to spend time with them (in meditation or while just talking with them), they basically said that it is an offering to them in itself. Nice to see that there are some game enthusiasts among us as well since the pics are from balders gate 3 (one of the most amazing games out there which I played). Ngl got pretty turned on looking at both the pics (I know the story of both of them which makes it even better).
